ADGAS organizes the '3rd Abu Dhabi Islands Cleaning' campaign ...

Themed "Keep it Clean and Pristine," the campaign mobilizes ADGAS employees and their families as well as other stakeholders to take part in cleaning the beach area near the Mina Breakwater.

Commenting on the campaign, Mr. Hassan Al Marzooqi, Senior Vice President (Administration) said, "We have made a point of involving our employees and their families in several activities that address environmental and sustainability issues so as to embed such principles in the daily life and lifestyles of our ADGAS family."

"Such activities would spread more awareness about the environmental consequences of irresponsible littering and make all those involved in the campaign new proponents of environmental issues. This is central to our corporate commitments as a socially responsible company," ADGAS SVP(A) added.

This annual campaign is organized in conjunction with the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi which oversees and coordinates the various environmental initiative of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Other corporate participants in this year's campaign include several OPCOs like GASCO, ZADCO, ADMA-OPCO, ADNOC Distribution and Al Hosn Gas. Other participants outside the oil and gas sector include the CNIA, The Center of Waste Management - Abu Dhabi, the Environment Friends Society, Al Futtaim Carillion, Abu Dhabi International Sports Marine Club.
