According to an article released by PNM News, The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recognized PNM for protecting the environment through energy efficiency and has awarded PNM with the 2012 ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence Award.
PNM was also honored for its ENERGY STAR Home Builders Program which build homes that use less energy, save on money and help the environment.
Builders who build homes that are certified to ENERGY STAR standards are offered a rebate by PNM.
